Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 12:20AM July 16, 2016 — For our first-ever trip to The Hamptons, Literary Death Match teamed with TSR: The Southampton Review and the Southampton Writers Conference for a star-studded night of literary brilliance, that saw Helen Simonson narrowly outduel co-finalist Tracy M. King-Sanchez in a nip-and-tuck Lone Star Lit II battle in sudden death overtime to win Simonson the LDM Hamptons, Ep. 1 crown, and literary immortality to go with it.
Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 3:04AM July 12, 2016 — In our annual return to the City of Light, Literary Death Match once again teamed with the Paris American Academy Writing Workshop for a brilliant eve in the 5eme that finished with Darin Strauss narrowly outdueling fellow finalist Nadja Spiegelman in a battle of Footballer or Poet? to win Strauss the LDM Paris, Ep. 4 crown.
Sunday, June 19, 2016 at 3:51PM June 23, 2016 — To celebrate the wonders of Indie Bookshop Week, Literary Death Match headed to Foyles Charing Cross Road for a brilliant night of lit, wit and rambunctiousness that saw Bridget Minamore outduel David Sanger in an all-out battle of Poet v. Footballer that Minamore won by a score of 9-6, winning her the LDM London, Ep. 58 crown.
Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 4:51AM June 4, 2016 — To celebrate LDM's summer in London we returned to the glorious Stoke Newington Literary Festival for a West Hackney event at St. Paul's Church (where else?) for a gleeful night that ended with Rebecca Mackenzie outlasting co-finalist Ka Bradley in a LDM 20 Questions finale to win Mackenzie the LDM London, Ep. 57 crown, and literary immortality to go with it.
Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 4:51AM May 24, 2016 — Feeling frisky after the release of our all-new web show (LDM Book Report), Literary Death Match is returned our Brookyn home at The Bell House for a sterling night of wit, lit and comedy that finished with Lindsay Zoladz outdueling Chinelo Okparanta in a wild game of Lone Star Lit II, winning Zoladz the LDM Brooklyn, Ep. 7 crown.
Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 12:39PM May 21, 2016 — Literary Death Match returned to SF and the Elbo Room for our record 61st event for a dual fundraising effort to support LDM Book Report and Lit Camp, and the fantastic night finished with Baruch Porras-Hernandez narrowly beating Sarah Ladipo Manyika in a Lone Star Lit II finale that won Porras-Hernandez the LDM SF, Ep. 61 crown.
Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at 1:26PM May 18, 2016 — To smarten up and hilarify May, Literary Death Match returned to our LA home at Largo at the Coronet for a sharp-minded night of brilliance, literary spectacle and belly laughs that ended with Jen Kirkman beating out Melissa Chadburn in a tightly-contested Lone Star Lit II finale to win Kirkman the LDM LA, Ep. 44 crown.
Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 7:12AM April 29, 2016 — To end April with a bang, we once again teamed with the Montgomery County Poet Laureate Program for the Lit Life Poetry Festival, a poet-rich affair that ended with Neil Babcox outdueling fellow finalist Nicole Zuckerman in a down-to-the-wire Anti-Book Burning Basketball finale by a score of 6-5 to win Babcox the LDM Montgomery County, Ep. 2 crown.
Monday, April 25, 2016 at 7:55PM April 26, 2016 — In our final 10-Year Anniversary celebration, Literary Death Match made April 2016 a little less cruel with a night of rambling and dazzlement as we returned to the Southbank Centre sponsored by Picador for a knockout night that saw Lisa Owens out-shoot fellow finalist Nikesh Shukla in an Anti-Book Burning Basketball finale to win Owens the LDM London, Ep. 56 crown.
