The Hamptons, Ep. 1

July 16, 2016 — For our first-ever trip to The Hamptons, Literary Death Match teamed with TSR: The Southampton Review and the Southampton Writers Conference for a star-studded night of literary brilliance, that saw Helen Simonson narrowly outduel co-finalist Tracy M. King-Sanchez in a nip-and-tuck Lone Star Lit II battle in sudden death overtime to win Simonson the LDM Hamptons, Ep. 1 crown, and literary immortality to go with it.

July 12, 2016 — In our annual return to the City of Light, Literary Death Match once again teamed with the Paris American Academy Writing Workshop for a brilliant eve in the 5eme that finished with Darin Strauss narrowly outdueling fellow finalist Nadja Spiegelman in a battle of Footballer or Poet? to win Strauss the LDM Paris, Ep. 4 crown.

June 23, 2016 — To celebrate the wonders of Indie Bookshop Week, Literary Death Match headed to Foyles Charing Cross Road for a brilliant night of lit, wit and rambunctiousness that saw Bridget Minamore outduel David Sanger in an all-out battle of Poet v. Footballer that Minamore won by a score of 9-6, winning her the LDM London, Ep. 58 crown.

June 4, 2016 — To celebrate LDM's summer in London we returned to the glorious Stoke Newington Literary Festival for a West Hackney event at St. Paul's Church (where else?) for a gleeful night that ended with Rebecca Mackenzie outlasting co-finalist Ka Bradley in a LDM 20 Questions finale to win Mackenzie the LDM London, Ep. 57 crown, and literary immortality to go with it.

April 29, 2016 — To end April with a bang, we once again teamed with the Montgomery County Poet Laureate Program for the Lit Life Poetry Festival, a poet-rich affair that ended with Neil Babcox outdueling fellow finalist Nicole Zuckerman in a down-to-the-wire Anti-Book Burning Basketball finale by a score of 6-5 to win Babcox the LDM Montgomery County, Ep. 2 crown.

April 26, 2016 — In our final 10-Year Anniversary celebration, Literary Death Match made April 2016 a little less cruel with a night of rambling and dazzlement as we returned to the Southbank Centre sponsored by Picador for a knockout night that saw Lisa Owens out-shoot fellow finalist Nikesh Shukla in an Anti-Book Burning Basketball finale to win Owens the LDM London, Ep. 56 crown.
