April 9, 2016 — For our semi-annual trek to the wonders of Midland & Odessa — Texas Forever! — we once again teamed up with the Books in the Basin festival to put on a knockout night of lit, wit and all kinds of joyfulness in between that finished with Rachel Caine outdueling Josh Kilmer-Purcell in Literary Spelling Bee II, to win Caine the LDM Midland & Odessa, Ep. 2 crown.

April 8, 2016 — To keep our 10-Year Anniversary celebration going, Literary Death Match teamed with the LA Times Festival of Books for a "Festival After Dark" spectacular at Largo at the Coronet that wowed in every single direction. The fantastic night ended with Leah Hayes out-shooting Naomi Hirahara in an Anti-Book Burning Basketball Spectacular by a final score of 5-3 to win Hayes the LDM LA, Ep. 43 crown.

April 2, 2016 — For our annual spring classic, Literary Death Match once again joined forces with the San Antonio Book Festival for a wild night of lit, wit and weirdness at the Charline McCombs Empire Theatre that ended with a tense Literary Spelling Bee III that saw Jamie Brickhouse outduel David Crabb in sudden death to win Brickhouse the LDM San Antonio, Ep. 3 crown.

March 23, 2016 — Our 10-Year Anniversary series of celebrations, Literary Death Match returned to LDM's spiritual home — the City by the Bay — for a ultra-fun night of calamity, literature and genius at the glorious Alamo Drafthous that saw Zahra Noorbakhsh narrowly outduel Shanthi Sekaran in a Lone Star Lit finale that went all the way to overtime to win Noorbakhsh the LDM SF, Ep. 60 crown.
