May 13, 2015 — Literary Death Match returned to Ireland's capital with a lineup aimed at bringing the house down at The Grand Social, and that's exactly what happened, as the sterling night finished with Alvy Carragher outdueling James Moran in a somewhat baffling Literary Charades finale featuring great Irish books to win Carragher the LDM Dublin, Ep. 9 crown.

October 25, 2014 — After way too many moons away, our return to the Emerald Isle for the Bram Stoker Festival was a gem in every direction as the stonking line-up stole hearts and minds, and in a wild One Star Wonder finish that won Dave Rudden the LDM Dublin, Ep. 8 crown.

Dublin, Ep. 7

March 28, 2012 — Before a packed house at The Workman's Club, literary magic was made on repeat, but, alas, there could only be one champion. And after a sudden-death Literary Pictionary kapow, it was poetic heartthrob Sean Mahoney who outdueled Poetry Chicks Collective virtuoso Abby Oliveira by a closer-than-it-appeared score of 3-2, to win Mahoney the LDM Dublin, Ep. 7 title.

Dublin, Ep. 6

November 3, 2011 — In what's being hailed "the feel-good literary event of Dublin's year" it was Peter Sheridan who shined brightest amongst the e'er twinkling lit-and-comic stars at The Workman's Club, winning a literary spelling bee by only a smidgen (6-5) over poetess Erin Fornoff to win himself the Literary Death Match crown.

Dublin, Ep. 5

September 8, 2011 — On one of the great start-to-finish nights in Literary Death Match history, The Workman's Club's stage was lit with stars, and none shined brighter than Sarah Maria Griffin ("the Reggie Miller of Ireland") as she out-shined her equally excellent co-finalist Simon Ashe-Browne by 5-3 in a anti-book burning basketball shootout for the ages that snared her the LDM's ultimate prize.

June 24, 2011 — While rain showers flooded Dublin, inside The Workman's Club, the literary stars shined bright-hot, as Stephen James Smith out-near-kissed James Joyce (using a Nerf shotgun with lipstick-tipped darts), narrowly beating co-finalist Virginia Gilbert to win Smith the Literary Death Match crown.

May 1, 2010 — The Sugar Club played host to a magically intimate night of literature and levity, as Dublin's second-ever episode was decided by a narrow margin, as Julian Gough (featured in Best European Fiction 2010) outscribbled Glór Sessions' Stephen James Smith in a draw-off that ended 2-1, with Gough being sashed and medaled as Dublin's latest Literary Death Match champion.

March 5, 2010 — A debut for the ages, Dublin's lit-lovers came out in full force to witness Literary Death Match Dublin's inaugural event at The Sugar Club, a storied battle that  concluded with Nuala Ní Chonchúir narrowly out-potato-hurling Brian O'Connell in a titan-like clash of Throw the Spud Through the Literary Master's Puncture, winning 3-2, and capturing Ireland's first-ever LDM crown.
