Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at 9:20AM October 11, 2011 — At a jam-packed Sala Rossa, an epic unfolding of literary and comedic oddity occurred (presented by Maisonneuve), all finished by crumpled book burners being somewhat-nimbly flung through a Nerf hoop to decide the champion. In a wild scramble, Katrina Best bested Zoe Page by 5-2 in a closer-than-the-score-shows finish to win Best the Literary Death Match Montreal crown.
Sunday, March 13, 2011 at 11:22AM March 13, 2011 — In one of the most brilliant city debuts in LDM history (presented by Summer Literary Seminars, and supported by Iambik Audiobooks), the winner — Jon Paul Fiorentino — managed to outlast co-finalist Melissa Bull in an epic social-networking finale that paid homage to Montreal's finest scribes. When it was all finished, Team Fiorentino won the closer-than-the-score-would-indicate finale 29-17.
