November 6, 2014 — LDM headed back to the Contemporary Jewish Museum for our annual November pilgrimage (to team up with Reboot’s Unscrolled) for a literary-skewed night of laughter and unusual Torah commentary that ended with Gabe Delahaye outdueling Karen Leibowitz in an electric Literary Judaic Charades finale to win Delahaye the LDM SF, Ep. 56 crown.

February 24, 2012 — Beatdown at the Beatbox! LDM SF, Ep. 43 came to a roaring crescendo as Devorah Major (San Francisco's own poet laureate) snatched the tie-breaking point from Madonna uber-fan/essayist Laura Barcella in a down-to-the-mat round of Literary Pictionary. The "Grapes of Wrath" never tasted so sweet!

October 12, 2007 — Opium’s most outstanding Literary Death Match ever (SF, Episode 4) at Swedish American Hall featured the release of Opium5: Bad Company, riotous readings from literary superstars, a heckler and a whopping (and sightly) crowd of 370.

SF, Ep. 2

August 21, 2007—Opium’s Literary Death Match SF, Episode 2, was an absolutely inspired success. Breaking the LDM attendance record, the latest event pulled in 170 rowdy, rally-crying supporters (“And all of them good-looking,” said one attendee). It was also the first-ever LDM episode to feature product placement, as co-host Todd Zuniga sported a eye-catching necktie created by the minds of Medium Reality.
