Monday, May 18, 2015 at 6:55AM May 18, 2015 — For our biggest-ever London show, we took over the Spiegeltent at London Wonderground on the South Bank for an electric night — sponsored by Picador — that finished with Nat Luurtsema narrowly outdueling Amber Tamblyn in a sudden-death One Star Wonder finale to win Luurtsema the LDM London, Ep. 49 crown.
Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 5:12PM July 10, 2014 — On a whimsical and vibrant night, Literary Death Match returned to Largo at the Coronet for a whizbang affair of the highest order (to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society), which saw Aimee Bender outduel co-finalist Annabelle Gurwitch in overtime in a Lone Star Lit finale to win Bender the LDM LA, Ep. 29 crown.
Thursday, October 15, 2009 at 6:38PM Sequins, audience members getting high on stage, and a supersized game of local-lit card shark made for Literary Death Match SF, Ep. 22. LDM regulars as well as Litquake X attendees filled Verdi Club to witness the literary merit, performance, and intangibility of four readers before James Nestor took home the gold for his drug-related genius and card-guessing skills.
