The fantastic night ended with Leah Hayes out-shooting Naomi Hirahara in an Anti-Book Burning Basketball Spectacular by a final score of 5-3 to win Hayes the LDM LA, Ep. 43 crown.

On a whimsy-filled night, Literary Death Match teamed with the cast of HBO's Silicon Valley and the LA Times Festival of Books for a Festival After Dark event at Largo that won hearts, minds and every other part of everyone's body as Atticus Lish outlasted Porochista Khakpour in a back-and-forth Lone Star Lit finale, winning Lish the LDM LA, Ep. 37 crown.
Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at 11:28PM August 26, 2014 — In an attempt to cool down the summer simmer, Literary Death Match returned to Largo at the Coronet for a wild adventure of literary delight, comedic miracles and more, that culminated in a brilliant finish that saw Lara Marie Schoenhals outduel Beau Sia in a raucous game of Literary Musical Chairs to win Schoenhals the LDM LA, Ep. 31 crown.
