April 1, 2016 — For LDM's 10-year anniversary, we blew the doors off with our AWP Super-Spectacular at The Theatre at Ace Hotel, and set the LDM attendance record (801). Presented by 89.9 KCRW and co-presented by the Otherppl podcast and Painted Bride Quarterly, the talent-packed night ended with Kirstin Valdez Quade so-narrowly outdueling Danez Smith in overtime in a Literary Charades finale to win Quade the LDM LA, Ep. 42 crown.

London, Ep. 55

February 17, 2016 — Literary Death Match kicked off its residency at the Southbank Centre, with some of the most talented literati in Londontown, on a night that saw Matthew Robins outduel Nick Makoha in a down-to-the-wire Original or Adapted? finale that went to the sudden-sudden-death before Robins was crowned as the LDM London, Ep. 55 champion.

LA, Ep. 39

October 27, 2015 — After too many moons away from LA, Literary Death Match returned home to Largo to team with HBO's The Leftovers for an electric night that ended with Eliot Laurence outdueling Tracy McMillan in a crazy-close game of Literary Spelling Bee III to win Laurence the LDM LA, Ep. 39 crown.

London, Ep. 48

May 5, 2015 — To kick off a three-shows-in-one-month London run, we teamed with Quercus Books to bring LDM to the The Ace Hotel in Shoreditch for a night that featured an endless array of literary talent, judging loveliness and a wild finale that culminated with Team Tom Moran outdueling Team Jessica Cornwell in a down-to-the-wire game of Literary Musical Chairs to win Moran the LDM London, Ep. 48 crown.
