Fairfax, Ep. 2

October 12, 2019 — After a sterling Virginia debut a year ago, Literary Death Match returned to the Fairfax for the brilliant Fall for the Book Festival, on a night that saw Christina Dalcher outlast Amaud Jamaul Johnson in a seesaw battle of LDM Cabinet of Non-Wonders, ending with Dalcher winning the LDM Fall for the Book, Ep. 2 crown, and literary immortality to go with it.

SF, Ep. 68

October 10, 2019 — In advance of our 500th show at Litquake, Literary Death Match returned to the glory of The Battery for a night of wit, wisdom, tomfoolery and shenanigans that lit up the night in style, as Elwin Cotman outdueled Holly Lynn Payne in a down-to-the-wire Cabinet of Non-Wonders finale to win the LDM SF, Ep. 68 crowd, and literary immortality to go with it.

LA, Ep. 49

October 6, 2019 — In a Literary Death Match first, LDM teamed with the wondrous Hammer Museum for an afternoon of amazement, as four children's book authors read their own work, and were judge by kids! In the end, Matthew A. Cherry outdueled Isabel Quintero in a down-to-the-last letter Children's Book Author Spelling Bee to win Cherry the LDM LA, Ep. 49 crown, and literary immortality to go with it.

October 5, 2019 — In our grand debut in Ogden, Utah, Literary Death Match teamed with the brilliant Utah Humanities Book Festival for a night of literature, comedy, and absurdity that saw Laura Stott topple David Lindes in a hotly-contested battle of LDM Cabinet of Non-Wonders that went down to the wire, winning Stott the LDM Ogden, Ep. 1 crown, and literary immortality to go with it.

May 11, 2019 — In our grand return to the Twin Cities, Literary Death Match headed to The Loft's inaugural Worldplay festival for a knockout night at Lit Crawl that saw Will McGrath outlast Bao Phi in a wild Literary Spelling Bee III finale to win McGrath the LDM Twin Cities Ep. 14 crown, and literary immortality to go with it.

May 5, 2019 — In our first-ever Middle Grade Edition (authors read, middle graders judge), Literary Death Match once again teamed with the Bay Area Book Festival for a noon-time hour of literary acrobatics that saw Anna Meriano pull off a late surge of awesome to defeat Steve Bramucci in a Literary Spelling Bee to win Meriano the LDM Berkeley, Ep. 2 medal, and literary immortality to go with it.
