March 7, 2015 — To continue our 9-Year birthday celebration, Literary Death Match returned to the Bay Area for a Saturday nightstravaganza at Elbo Room that came to a glorious, high-wire conclusion with Cassandra Dallett outlasting Casey Childers in Literary Spelling Bee II by a score of 7-6 to win Dallett the LDM SF, Ep. 59 crown.

March 3, 2015 — To celebrate LDM's 9th birthday, Largo's stage was rife with award-winning talent, for a show that boasted the highest of highs, exceedingly high lows, and a down-to-the-wire finish that saw M.G. Lord topple Carson Mell in a sudden death game of Fictionary: Great Adaptations edition, winning Lord the LDM LA, Ep. 36 crown.

January 22, 2014 — Literary Death Match's 2015 debut was a romp for the generations (and the longest show in LDM history!), jam-packed with brilliant readings, comedic absurdity to the infinite degree, and all of it ended with Peter Mehlman outdueling Mary Anna King in overtime in a Original or Adapted finale that won Mehlman the LDM LA, Ep. 35 crown.

December 15, 2014 — In a literary event masquerading as our Xmas party, Literary Death Match pulled out all the stops with a respite from the mindless, booze-fueled holiday shindigs for a mindful, booze-fueled holiday-themed literary and comedic celebration that ended with Isley Lynn blurting out the final answer in a Literary 20 Questions finale to narrowly topple co-finalist Alex Christofi and win Lynn the LDM London, Ep. 44 crown.

October 25, 2014 — For our annual October pilgrimage, we did our part to Keep Austin Weird by pairing with the Texas Book Festival and Austin's Litcrawl for our first-ever show at the North Door, for a ridiculously brilliant night that saw Scott Cheshire narrowly outduel finalist Marlon James in a Literary Charades finale that ended in sudden death, winning Cheshire the LDM Austin, Ep. 8 title.
