Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at 4:32PM September 16, 2014 — In our couldn't-wait return to western Massachussetts, Literary Death Match teamed with the masterminds at Williams College for a literary extravaganza at the '62 Center of Theatre and Dance that saw Elizabeth K. Gordon outduel co-finalist Jedediah Berry by a score of 29-23 in a the Lone Star Lit finale to win Gordon the LDM Williams College, Ep. 1 crown.
Sunday, August 31, 2014 at 12:55AM August 30, 2014 — In what was the greatest hour of literary wizardry of the summer, Literary Death Match headed to the amaze and awe of Bumbershoot for a mid-afternoon spectacular that saw Sara Benincasa outduel co-finalist Rachel Shukert 9-6 in a hotly contested game of Literary Spelling Bee III.
Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at 11:28PM August 26, 2014 — In an attempt to cool down the summer simmer, Literary Death Match returned to Largo at the Coronet for a wild adventure of literary delight, comedic miracles and more, that culminated in a brilliant finish that saw Lara Marie Schoenhals outduel Beau Sia in a raucous game of Literary Musical Chairs to win Schoenhals the LDM LA, Ep. 31 crown.
Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 11:53AM August 16, 2014 — Before summer's swelter abandoned the Bay, Literary Death Match returned for a Saturday night of literary battle and comedic irreverance that ended with Carolina De Robertis outdueling Joshua Merchant in an epic Pulitzer Prize-themed Cyrillic Off by a score of 55-39 to win De Robertis the LDM SF, Ep. 53 crown.
Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at 3:26PM July 30, 2014 — After over an eight-year wait, Literary Death Match finally made its way to Oakland, and what a debut it was. An insta-classic, the night ended with Nancy Davis Kho outdueling Tim "Toaster" Henderson in a Literary Pictionary Oakland-Style finale by a closer-than-it-appeared score of 9-1 to win her the LDM Oakland, Ep. 1 crown.
Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at 5:14PM July 22, 2014 — In LDM's annual Westwood delight, we returned to the magnificent Hammer Museum for a mid-summer event that boasted some of LA's finest. After a pitch-perfect night, the show closed with Sean Michaels outdueling Sara Benincasa in the Quiz of Death II to win Michaels the LDM LA, Ep. 30 crown.
Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 5:12PM July 10, 2014 — On a whimsical and vibrant night, Literary Death Match returned to Largo at the Coronet for a whizbang affair of the highest order (to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society), which saw Aimee Bender outduel co-finalist Annabelle Gurwitch in overtime in a Lone Star Lit finale to win Bender the LDM LA, Ep. 29 crown.
Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at 5:28AM May 21, 2014 — After too much time away, Literary Death Match returned to awe-inspiring Norway to be part of the Norsk Litteraturfestival for our Lillehammer debut, and what a night it was, as Ellisiv Lindkvist outdueled co-finalist Gina Cornelia Pedersen by a score of 35-34 in Literary Spelling Bee II, to win Lindkvist the LDM Lillehammer, Ep. 1 crown.
