May 17, 2013 — In one of our most exhilarating debuts ever, Literary Death Match descended on Dolly in gob-smacking Reykjavik, where a jam-packed audience saw Kári Tulinius narrowly outduel Auður Jónsdóttir in an Icelandic Literary Pictionary finale by a narrow 3-1 margin to win Tulinius the LDM Reykjavik, Ep. 1 crown.

May 14, 2013 — Following up on our 7-year anniversary celebration, Literary Death Match returned to Club OBERON in Cambridge for an enchanting night of gleeful whimsy that saw Kim Adrian outduel co-finalist Jacquetta Szathmari 9-3 in a Pulitzer Pictionary finale that went down to the wire, winning Adrian the LDM Boston, Ep. 12 championship.

May 10, 2013 — In a wonderful showcase of all things Maine/awesome, Literary Death Match stormed the Space Gallery to present an electric night — presented by the Maine Writers & Publishers Alliance — that saw Lewis Robinson come from way behind to out-guess Susan Conley in a Pulitzer Prize Pictionary finale, winning Robinson the LDM Portland (ME), Ep. 2 crown.

Brooklyn, Ep. 1

May 9, 2013 — After 44 Manhattan-based events, Literary Death Match is made the obvious move to the better borough, with an offiical Brooklyn debut at Union Hall that saw Alexander Chee outduel co-finalist Alina Simone in an exhilirating Literary Pictionary finale that Chee won with a closer-than-it-seems 9-1 victory, to win him the LDM Brookyn, Ep. 1 crown.

Twin Cities, Ep. 9

May 8, 2013 — To kick off our planet-hopping May tour, Literary Death Match returned to magical Minneapolis (and more specifically Nomad World Pub) for a humdinger of a night that finished with Allegra Lingo outdueling Christy Marie Kent 3-1 in a raucous game of Literary Pictionary that won Lingo the LDM Twin Cities, Ep. 9 crown.

LA, Ep. 20

April 18, 2013 — As a kick-off to the LA Times Festival of Books, LDM's 20th-ever episode in LA ended in slapstick fashion, as volunteers from the crowd took turns writing Pulitzer Prize-winning author's names with a Sharpie clasped between their toes. The result: Owen Egerton narrowly outdid co-finalist Ophira Eisenberg by a 4-1 score, to win the LDM LA, Ep. 20 crown!

Ljubljana, Ep. 1

March 28, 2013 — In one of the great debuts in the history of debuts, Literary Death Match stormed Ljubljana's Kavarna Union with a showcase of the Slovenia's finest talent, that ended when Jana Kolarič outduelled Katja Gorečan in a Spell-Binding finale by a final score of 22-14 to win the nation's newest literary award, the Literary Death Match championship!
